The Island Government, through Metrotenerife, company headed by Enrique Arriaga, and in coordination with the City Council of Santa Cruz, will carry out this 24th Monday to 1st June the maintenance works of rails in the Príncipes de España Avenue, between Chimisay roundabout and César Manrique educational center.
The tram service will keep running with its normal frequencies and timetables while the works were in progress.
For that reason, one of two downward lanes of the avenue as stock area and safety area for the workers. There will always be an operational lane for the traffic. The works will carry out in daytime and nighttime with the aim to maintenance the tram service and to reduce the execution lead times. Metrotenerife will watch over to minimise the inconveniences that may be caused.
With these works, the service will improve its comfort, reduce the noises of the trams running and make easy future maintenance works.
