The vice-president of Island Government, Enrique Arriaga, reported that the transport operators, Metrotenerife and Titsa, closed the year 2019 with a record in the number of passengers: 61.271.218 travelers.
Tram service achieves 15.554.855 passengers in 2019, +5,4% more than last year. It’s a historical record of demand since the putting into service of both lines. The client profile of tram is:

• Under 25 years of age, 39%
• Travel to go home 30%
Titsa, the bus company, had 45,7 million passengers and the demand of the north Tenerife experienced the highest growth, 28,7%. The profile of the client is:
• Women 55%
• Under 35 years of age, 48%
• Travel to work 33%
