The Island Government, through Metrotenerife, recalls that this Sunday 30th the company will be carried out the maintenance works in Taco and Las Mantecas tunnels. For that reason, Line 2 La Cuesta-Tíncer, will not run during the whole day and the tram stops of Line 1 Las Mantecas, Hospital Universitario and El Cardonal will be out of order only from 08:00 am to 09:00 pm. In the rest of Line 1 stops, the trams will operate with their normal timetables.
In both cases, Metrotenerife will activate an alternative and free bus service that will take the route between the stops out of order of Line 1 and along Line 2 La Cuesta-Tíncer.
The works will carry out in daytime and nighttime with the aim to maintenance the tram service and to reduce the execution lead times. Metrotenerife will watch over to minimise the inconveniences that may be caused.
With these works, the service will improve its comfort, reduce the noises of the trams running and make easy future maintenance works.
