- Trams will not work in the early morning on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Due to the new measures against Covid-19 ordered by the Canary Government and following the guidelines of the Island Government, Metrotenerife will suspend the weekend´s night service that, so far, Line 1 offered from 12:00 pm to 06:00 am. The modification will maintain while those last measures of control will be activated.
The day services at the weekend will continue to run with its normal frequencies on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. That means that Line 1 and Line 2 will begin the services at 06:00 and finish at midnight.
Metrotenerife remembers that the maximum occupancy per vehicle is 132 passengers (64 seats + 68 standing places), that the cleaning and disinfection protocol carry out every day and the mandatory use of the face masks by passengers.
