The Island Government, Metrotenerife and Titsa activate the app ten+móvil, which means a new step in the policy of modernizing the island transport. From now on, the mobile payment system for the public transport, Vía-Móvil, will be renamed ten+móvil with the aim of unifying the image with the contactless ticketing tenmás.
The president of the Island Government, Carlos Alonso, the Island director Development, Miguel Becerra; and the managing directors of Metrotenerife and Titsa, Andrés Muñoz de Dios and Jacobo Kalitovics, presented this application that maintenance the same functions of Vía-Móvil but with new services as the pass Abono Joven or in the future ten+móvil High Occupancy Vehicle lane (HOV).
The first version of ten+movil is already available in Google Play Store for Android system and later for iOS, on the external link www.play.google.com. In the middle of October the second version will be able download. The Vía-Móvil users will receive an email or an advertisement in the mobile to warn them about the updating of the application.
Abono Joven
ten+móvil includes also the new pass Abono Joven for young people under 30 years and for 35 Euro per month. The people can get this pass, without cost, on the external linkwww.abonojoven.es until 31st of October. From July more than 10.000 young people have already applied the Abono Joven.
Ten+movil HOV
In the coming months the ten+movil HOV lane will be activated. With this service, the Island Government wants to award the persons that share vehicle.
