Metrotenerife, company of the Island Government, will suspend the weekend night service that the Line 1 offered until now from 12:00 am to 06:00 am. This modification of the service will be maintained as long as the measures Covid-19, corresponding to level 4, are activated.
With regard to the weekend day service, it will run with its usual frequencies for the days of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. So, the tram service on Line 1 and Line 2 will start at 6:00 am and will finish at midnight.
Currently, the maximum occupancy per tram is 75% (all seats occupied and 90 standing passengers). The TranviaOnline app has already been updated to the new limit and it will inform the user of the percent of occupancy of the trams. Also, sound warnings have been activated.
Metrotenerife continues to develop hygiene and disinfection measures and protocols and remember to the passengers that the use of face mask is mandatory in public transport.
