The Island Government has informed about the modifications to apply on tram and bus services during the Christmas Eve (24th) and Christmas Day (25th). On Thursday (24th) the tram will reinforce its frequencies and finish at 8:30 pm. The users can inform about these services on this and on social networks, Facebook and Twitter (@tranviatenerife).
The vice-president of the Island Government, Enrique Arriaga, remembered that the public transport occupancy is limited to 50% and for that reason invite to use the apps TranviaOnline (http: //tranviaonline.metrotenerife.com/) and ten+móvil to check in real time the percent users in every tram.
Likewise, the Mobility director, José Alberto León, insisted on the need to comply with the prevention requirements on public transport and to pay attention to the instructions of the tram staff.
Thursday 24th, Christmas Eve
Line 1 will have a frequency of 6 minutes from early morning to 3:00 pm and then, it will run every 7,5 and 10 minutes. In the Line 2 the time between trams will be 12 and 15 minutes, mainly. The service on both lines will finish at 8.30 pm.
Friday 25th, Christmas Day
The Tenerife Tram will resume its activity on Christmas Day (25th) at 8.00 am with the usual frequencies on public holiday, 12 minutes on Line 1 and 15 minutes on Line 2. The tram network will be operational until midnight (12:00 am).
Titsa will also modify the bus lines on the whole island.
