The Tenerife Tram begins on 1st Thursday the summer timetable to adapt its offer to the demand as said the firs vice-president of the Island Government, Enrique Arriaga.
Until mild-July, the Line 1 and Line 2 services will have a frequency of 6 minutes and 12 minutes, respectively, from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm. Arriaga remarks that the use of the facemask is compulsory in the public transport.
Through the apps TranviaOnline (external link) http://tranviaonline.metrotenerife.com/ and ten+móvil, the passengers can check the percent occupancy in every tram in real time. Likewise, they can inform about the frequencies on the web (external link) https://metrotenerife.com/routes-and-timetables/ and on social networks Facebook and Twitter (@tranviatenerife).
Summer timetable: working days
From this Thursday 1st to Sunday 11th July, Line 1 will operate in working days every 6 minutes, from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm, and Line 2 every 12 minutes. On the other hand, from 12th July to 31st August, the trams will have a frequency of 7 minutes on Line 1 and 14 minutes on Line 2 during the whole summer. The weekend timetable remains as up to now.
Metrotenerife maintains the daily cleaning and disinfection protocols besides other measures against the Covid-19 as the continuous renewal of air and the automatic opening of the door tram on the stops.
