Metrotenerife will modify the service of Line 1 on Sunday 14th on the occasion of the celebration of the International Marathon of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. During the sports event, from 08:00 am to 12:20 pm approximately, Line 1 will only be operational between the stops La Paz-La Trinidad with its usual weekend frequencies.
Therefore, La Paz will be the final stop of Line 1 in Santa Cruz on the morning of Sunday 14th. For that reason, the tram stop Weyler, Teatro Guimerá, Fundación and Intercambiador will be out of service. The tram will resume circulation throughout the Line 1 when the Santa Cruz Local Police indicated it after the conclusion of the marathon around 12:20 pm.
Metrotenerife will take this measure to guarantee the tram service during the marathon and will be reporting on it on its social networks, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (@tranviatenerife), as well as, the day of the sports event at the stops of the tram network.
