The Tram runs in the summer timetable to adapt its offer to the demand

The Tenerife Tram begins on 1st Thursday the summer timetable to adapt its offer to the demand as said the firs vice-president of the Island Government, Enrique Arriaga.
Until mild-July, the Line 1 and Line 2 services will have a frequency of 6 minutes and 12 minutes, respectively, from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm. Arriaga remarks that the use of the facemask is compulsory in the public transport.

Through the apps TranviaOnline (external link) and ten+móvil, the passengers can check the percent occupancy in every tram in real time. Likewise, they can inform about the frequencies on the web (external link) and on social networks Facebook and Twitter (@tranviatenerife).

Summer timetable: working days

From this Thursday 1st to Sunday 11th July, Line 1 will operate in working days every 6 minutes, from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm, and Line 2 every 12 minutes. On the other hand, from 12th July to 31st August, the trams will have a frequency of 7 minutes on Line 1 and 14 minutes on Line 2 during the whole summer. The weekend timetable remains as up to now.
Metrotenerife maintains the daily cleaning and disinfection protocols besides other measures against the Covid-19 as the continuous renewal of air and the automatic opening of the door tram on the stops.
